Shawn Michaels,whose real name is Michael Shawn Hickenbottom is an American professional wrestler. He performs on World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) RAW. Currently, Shawn Michaels is one of the senior performers in WWE, having joined in 1987. He is one wrestler who has been performing on Monday night RAW from its very first episode.

Shawn Michaels was born on July 22, 1965 in Chandler, Arizona.The last of four children - Randy, Scott and Shari. He was raised in a military family and spent a brief part of his early years in Reading, Berkshire, England, but grew up in Texas. He knew he wanted to become a professional wrestler at the age of 12. Hickenbottom was already an athlete; his career began at the age of 6 when he started playing football.After graduating, Hickenbottom attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, but soon realized that college life was not for him.Then he began pursuing the career of a professional wrestler.

Working with American Wrestling Association (1986–1988)

Michaels made his national-level debut at age nineteen for the American Wrestling Association,with Marty Jannetty.The pair, "The Midnight Rockers" got hold of the AWA World Tag Team Championship.In 1988,this team got in to active career with WWF.

Career in WWF/WWE(1988-)

Micheal's long stand in WWF/WWE started from 1988 and is still continuing unmatched. He started his active stay in the World Wrestling Federation at a house show on July 7, 1988.His team with Marty Jannetty is packaged as "The Rockers." The team proved popular with both children and women.

At the suggestion of Curt "Mr. Perfect" Hennig, Michaels' adopted the nickname "The Heartbreak Kid". Along with his new name came a new gimmick as a vain, cocky heel.He won the Intercontinental Championship from "The British Bulldog" during Saturday Night's Main Event on October 27, 1992.And this has boosted his career in WWE as a major wrestler.

On August 28, 1994, Michaels and Diesel captured the WWF World Tag Team Championship from The Headshrinkers.Michaels went on to win the 1995 Royal Rumble, where he was the first participant to win the Rumble match from the No.1 spot.

A high point in the career of micheals is the formation of DX.In the summer 1997, Michaels joined forces with real-life friend, Hunter Hearst Helmsley (HHH)and Hunter's then-girlfriend, Chyna to form the D-Generation X (DX).

In what is thought to be the most controversial match in wrestling history. Michaels fought with Bret Hart in a title shot at the 1997 Survivor Series and came out of this match, dubbed by fans the "Montreal Screwjob", as the WWF World Champion.Michaels thus became the only wrestler to hold both the World Championship and the European Championship at the same time.

Coming straight to 2007, in RAW - teaming with John Cena won the World Tag Team Championship from Edge & Randy Orton.Also in PWI Match of the Year (2007),he defeated John Cena.Still in 2008, Shawn micheals continues to do his magic on his fans and is regarded as one of the all time superstars of WWE.

John Felix Anthony Cena[5] (born April 23, 1977) is a WWE wrestler and hip hop singer. He is employed by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and performs on their Raw brand.
In his WWE career, Cena has been a three time WWE Champion,a three time United States Champion, and a one time World Tag Team Champion with Shawn Michaels. He also won the 2008 Royal Rumble.Before being promoted to the main WWE roster, Cena trained in and wrestled for Ultimate Pro Wrestling and Ohio Valley Wrestling, holding the top titles of both promotions.
Cena was born April 23, 1977 in West Newbury, Massachusetts, the second eldest of five brothers – Dan, Matt, Steve and Sean. After graduating from Cushing Academy, Cena attended Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts. In college he was a Division III All-American center on the football team. He graduated from Springfield in 1998 with a degree in exercise physiology, after which he pursued a career as a bodybuilder, and also worked as a chauffeur for a limousine company.
